  1. In response to all of the platform issues:

  3. I believe the Amiga is a dead end. I also just bought a Warp engine, and
  4. another 32M of RAM for it. Why? Because along with LW I'll be using all of
  5. the third party stuff (Sparks, Motion Master, Power Macros, etc.) and I
  6. bet It's gonna be a year before we see all of this stuff migrate to the
  7. various platforms, meanwhile I need it NOW. I mean, I have two Raptor 2's
  8. that are chompin' on the bit for 4.0, but I'm still gonna need all of that
  9. cool Amiga software until it exists on the new platforms. Also, I don't
  10. think my PAR and TBC would feel too well in a Mips or Alpha machine.

  12. In all of these posts everyone is rationalizing and justifying whatever it
  13. is that they have (myself included of course). I submit that if you can
  14. rationalize it, then what's the problem? Everything is cool. Then if
  15. someone disagrees with your choices they are probably trying to apply YOUR
  16. hardware to THEIR production problems. It doesn't necesarily apply at all.
  17. Be happy! If you're not, save your bucks for the system that you can
  18. justify (and not necesarilly the most expensive or sexy).
